Linda Farrow
The luxury eyewear brand Linda Farrow, founded in 1970, quickly became famous. Linda was originally a fashion designer herself and one of the first to treat sunglasses as fashion. As a pioneer, she developed many shapes and styles that are still essential today. Her pioneering use of shapes helped establish eyewear in high fashion, her avant-garde styles were favored by stars like Yoko Ono, and she has worked with brands like Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Sonia Rykiel. After a twenty year hiatus, the brand was revived in 2003 by Farrow’s son Simon after a huge archive of vintage sunglasses was discovered in the family’s London warehouse. The brand is known for working with some of the world’s most renowned designers – Area, Y / Project, The Attico, Dries van Noten and many others – to constantly bring a new perspective to the brand.
